President of the Vietnam Agarwood Association witnesses microbial agarwood induction on a 30-year-old Aquilaria tree

VAWA - After multiple direct surveys and verifications of the agarwood-inducing results using the microbial method at Agarvina's cultivation areas, Mr. Phạm Văn Du, Chairman of the Vietnam Agarwood Association, decided to apply this method to approximately 30-year-old Aquilaria trees in his own garden. According to the technology provider, the trees can begin forming agarwood after about 6–12 months and are expected to be harvestable after about 24 months.
